June 2017
I worked with choreographer, Eddie Stockton in his "work in progress" titled, The Complex Compound. Throughout this process I was able to help out as a rehearsal assistant as well as a dancer. The Complex Compound's intent was to portray multiple stories of a community that lives in a closely knit apartment "complex" where everyone's stories overlap.
November 2017
I was apart of the 2nd Ashani Dances Baltimore debut, Ashani Dances Five! I appeared in three pieces out of the four piece showcase; Exquisite Encounter, Prayer(solo), and Soul Centered. Although all the pieces were choreographed by Iyun Ashani Harrison there was a collaborative aspect because all of the pieces were made for our bodies. Throughout this process I learned a lot about what it means to work in a professional dance setting and with a small company.
December 2018
I premiered in Ballethnic Dance Company's Urban Nutcracker as a Sadie Doll in the Party Scene of the Johnson's family Christmas party. I also appeared in Act II as the high spirited Spanish who danced a flirty dance.
